Configuring the Roles Template

You can add fields to your role template to display specific data associated with that Roles such as Assigned Tasks and Personnel.  You can also customize which columns should display on the list view. 

🔑 ACCESS LEVEL REQUIRED: Account Owner

ℹ️ NOTE: There is only one role template for all of your channels across your Incident Management account (Operations Center platform). 

  1. Go to the Admin Area
  2. Expand Templates
  3. Select Roles
  4. Create your template using the customizing form template and selecting field type articles
    1. Built-in fields: Name (role), and Personnel relationship field
  5. Update the List View Settings to configure the column headers that will be displayed in the incident channel
  6. To include all Personnel when Starting a New Channel, enable Unassigned personnel: List unassigned personnel in the "Unassigned" team. To keep personnel hidden until invited, leave it disabled.

  1. Click Save
