User Permission Levels
This guide makes D4H permission levels easier to understand by explaining what each level allows. After adding members, assign them a permission level to trigger an email invitation for account access. Follow the detailed steps in the Inviting New D4H Users article for a smooth process. ⚠️ ATTENTION: You can't assign a higher level than your own and you can't change your own access level, ensuring access levels are maintained according to the permissions set by your D4H administrator or the highest authority within your organization.
ℹ️ NOTE: Access for D4H organizational accounts are currently administered by D4H. If you have an organizational account and need to modify or add users, please request your D4H administrator contact us at help@d4h.com. In the message, specify the permission changes you require and include the email addresses of the users involved.
User Permission Levels for Team Manager
In D4H Personnel & Training, Equipment Management & Incident Reporting (Team Manager platform), there are four main permission levels available: Member, Member+, Editor, and Owner. Each profile grants specific access levels and functionalities. Here's a breakdown of what each profile offers:
Member:
- Read-only access
- Suitable for regular members who can edit their own basic details
- No access to private data (indicated by a padlock icon)
- More details on additional granular permissions
Member+:
- Ideal for team officers or members who require selective editor permissions
- Edit basic profile details
- Can access private data (marked with a padlock icon)
- More details on additional granular permissions
Editor:
- Suitable for administrators and team leaders
- View, add, delete, and edit all data
- Add members and qualifications
- Some account settings are accessible
Owner:
- Highest access level and control
- Full data access and editing
- Configure all main Account Settings
- Exclusive ability to delete the master account
Additional "No Access" permission level:
- Member has no access to sign in
- Useful for tracking data without account access

User Permission Levels for Operations Center
Here's a breakdown of the four main permission levels in D4H Incident Management (Operations Center): Member, Member+, Editor, and Account Owner.
Member:
- Access invited channels only
- Limited permissions, suitable for basic members
Member+:
Editor:
- Can start or shut down channels
- Access to all channels
- Can configure plays and import collections
- Provides additional permissions for administrators and team leaders
Account Owner:
- Full administrative access
- Can manage users, permissions and configure templates
- Highest permissions, authority over configuring account settings
