Inviting New D4H Users

Inviting a user is different between our different products.
Personnel & Training, Equipment Management & Incident Reporting
ℹ️ NOTE: For information on how to bulk upload a large number of members all at once, go to the bulk import members from a spreadsheet article.
To add a member into your account
- Go to Planning > Members
- Click + Add Members
- Add the member's name, their member status, and their email address and any other relevant member profile details
- If you wish to add multiple members at the same time you can simply click + Add Another for each and enter their details
- Click Import All Members
- Now that the member has been added you will need to grant them access
To grant members access and send an invite to your account
💡 TIP: As a best practice, let your member's know ahead of time they will be receiving an invitation to join your account. The link in the email sent is only good for 24 hours after it is sent.
- Go to the User icon at the top right hand corner
- Click on Access Control
- In the last column click Send Invite for the member you want to grant access
- Each member must have a valid email address to which the system can send an invite
- Select the user permission level you wish to grant the member
- Click Send Invite
- This member will now receive an email invite asking them to create their D4H account
Incident Management
To invite a member to your account:

- Go to the Admin Area
- Expand Collections
- Open Personnel
- Click on the orange Add button
- You will need a name and an email address to create an account
- Click Save
To grant members access to your account:
💡 TIP: You can also add assign your members custom permission levels. Go to the configuring permission profiles article for more information.
- Go to the Admin Area
- Expand Collections
- Open Personnel
- Double click on the Member's name
- Click the orange button Create a D4H Incident Management Account
- Under Permission Profiles select a profile from the drop down list
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen
- Your personnel will receive an email invitation to the join the account. They will need to click Create My Account and follow the steps to access it
