Sharing by Email and Public Link

In your Incident Management account (Operations Center platform) you can easily share content externally via email, and all forms can be shared through a public link, providing flexible ways to collaborate and distribute information.

ℹ️ NOTE: Using the Situation Report module for the below examples but it works the same for any applicable modules within the Operations Center account.

Share by Email

ℹ️ NOTE: All personnel who have been added to the Channel will appear as potential recipients but you can add additional recipient lists by adding an Email type field to the template of a Status Board and checking 'Can be used as a recipient contact' underneath it. All emails added to that Status Board will appear in a recipient list by the name of the board.

To share the screen you are on:

  1. Access the open Channel
  2. Open the Situation Report
  3. Click on the ⋮ more options menu in the top right
  4. Click on Share by email...
  5. Select the recipients you want the system to send the email to
  6. Click Next
  7. Customize your subject and message
  8. Click Send

Share by Public Link

Our public links allow you to make the content of Task Boards and Forms (including the forms behind Status Boards) accessible to anyone, even those without credentials to your account. The generated link is 'secret' in that it is too complex to guess and cannot be discovered through browsing or internet searches.

  1. Access the open Channel
  2. Open any item you are wanting to share
  3. Click on the ⋮ more options menu in the top right
  4. Click on Share by public link...

The platform will generate a unique link that you can share externally. This link is private and cannot be found by search engines or guessed.

Additional Options

    • You can choose to include log posts when sharing the link.
    • You can Switch Off a Public Link at any time by following the same steps. All links will be automatically disabled when you shut down the channel.

Sharing Logs by Public Link

If you are sharing a public link from the Situation Report, only the logs related to that specific Situation Report will be visible to external viewers.

The same applies to Forms or any other content shared via public link: it will only display logs related to that particular module, not the entire log history. This is by design to ensure that sensitive or unnecessary details are not exposed to the public.
