Configuring the Channel Statuses
Channel Statuses can help quantify the difficulty or resistance encountered when managing or mitigating an incident. You can customize the Status field on your Situation Report to include the statuses that you currently use for logging incidents or events.
đ ACCESS LEVEL: Account Owner
âšī¸ NOTE: You must configure the channel statuses first within the Admin Area on web application. Once they have been configured you can assign the channel status on the situation from either the web or mobile app.
Configuring the Channel Statuses
- Go to the Admin Area
- Expand Settings
- Click on Channel statuses
- Select New channel status
- Update the Channel Status Fields
- Click Save
Channel Status Fields
- Name (Required Field): This is the status name that will appear in the drop down field on the SITREP and it will appear in the top panel of the open incident / event.
- Unique name (Required Field): The unique name is auto-generated.
- Color (Optional Field): There are a set number of colors to choose from. The status will display in this color font on your SITREP.
- Description (Optional Field): You can add a brief description about the status.

Reordering the Channel Statuses
- Go to the Admin Area
- Expand Settings
- Click on Channel Statuses
- Hover over the channel status you wish to move
- Click and hold the â ŋ drag handle icon that appears to the left
- Drag and drop the channel status to the areas of your choosing
