Searching for Points of Interest on the Map
The Points of Interest (POI) search feature helps you quickly locate relevant facilities within the map area you’re viewing. You can then save these facilities to a Map Note or a Status Board for easy reference during your incident.
💡 TIPS: Here are some common scenarios where the POI search feature can streamline your response efforts:
- Search for hotels to accommodate your passengers after flight cancellation.
- Search for police stations who can assist with your public order requests.
- Search for fire stations who may have vital equipment to assist your emergency response.
- Search for hospitals who can accommodate your emergency evacuees.
ℹ️ NOTE: The main map is not available in the mobile app.
- Access the open Channel
- Go to the Map
- Type a facility type into the 🔍 Search icon and press return
- Click on a facility to save it as a Map Note or attach it to a Status Board in your incident
