Bundling Entities Together
In Personnel & Training, Equipment Management and Incident Reporting (Team Manager platform) products, the concept of Bundles serves as a pivotal tool for effectively organizing your account's data. Bundling is available in Groups, Qualifications, Roles, Tags, Custom Fields, Equipment Locations, and Equipment Inspections. By bundling related entities together, you can streamline your management tasks. Moreover, certain modules allow you to condense the view by clicking on the ▼ minimize icon positioned to the left of the bundle's name. Flexibility is at your fingertips, as bundles can be modified whenever necessary.
🔑ACCESS LEVEL: Owner or Editor but refer to specific module articles to ascertain the precise permission level required for making edits.
ℹ️ NOTE: A “bundle” is simply a way of grouping entities so they appear under one header. Entities that aren’t part of any bundle will show up under the Others or Unbundled section.
To create a new bundle:
- Access the relevant module entity you intend to bundle. This could be Qualifications, Groups, Roles, Tags, Custom Fields, Equipment Locations, or Equipment Inspections
- For Tags, it's essential to first establish the bundle by selecting Create Bundle prior to proceeding to step 2
- In the case of Custom Fields, the editing process takes place within the Custom Fields and Timestamps section under Team Settings
- Select Update Details
- Within the provided Bundle field, input the desired name for the bundle
- Click Save Changes
