Add New Items to Status Board from Relationship Field

You can add new items to a status board from a relationship field. This field type adds a relationship field to your template. This field allows you to link data between different modules. 

⚠️ ATTENTION: You will first need to add the relationship fields to your status board and the connecting module.

WEB APP

To do this:

  1. Access the open Channel
  2. Go to the Status Board
  3. Click into a row you wish to edit
  4. Click into the relationship field where you wish to add a new item (Passengers in this example)
  5. You will see that when you click into the field, any existing items will appear which you can click on to add if you wish to do so
  6. To add a new item select Add...
  7. Type in the name of the new item and click Create New
  8. The new item has now been added in the relationship field on this status board, as well as being added as an item to the board it is linked to
  9. In this case, it was newly added as an item to the Passenger Manifest status board

MOBILE APP

  1. Open the Incident Management Mobile App
  2. Access the open channel
  3. Select the Status Board
  4. In the status board, click into a row you wish to edit
  5. Click into the relationship field where you wish to add a new item (Passengers in this example)
  6. To add a new item click into the Add to the list box
  7. You will see that when you click into this box, any existing items will appear which you can click on to add if you wish to do so
  8. To add a new item click the orang + icon in the bottom right corner
  9. Type in the name of the new item and click Add
  10. The new item has now been added and you will need to click Save
  11. You will see the item appear in the relationship field on this status board, as well as being added as an item to the board it is linked to
  12. In this case, it was newly added as an item to the Passenger Manifest status board
