Sending a Message
🔑 ACCESS LEVEL REQUIRED: Editor or Owner (see Preventing Members from Sending Emails and Making Sent Messages Private)

⚠️ ATTENTION: If a member's name appears in red, this means the member does not have a valid email address and it must be updated in their Member Profile before you can send an email to them.
Sending a Message from the Comms Module
- Go to Logistics > Communications
- Select the relevant channels (Email, Voice*, or Text Message*) which are listed near the top of the Send Message page (Voice and Text depend on your provider)
- Select the recipients you'd like to send the message to;
- Choose individual members from the Members dropdown (You may also select by type of member - Member Status)
- Choose groups of members from the Groups dropdown (You may also select from On-Call members if you're using this feature)
- Type your message in the box (If only the email channel is chosen, there will be the option to enter a Subject also)
- Click Send Message
- A notification will pop up indicating the amount of messages being sent and what channels they are being sent by
Sending a Message from the other Modules
🔑 NOTE: The quick-communication function is only available in "Status & Chronologically" group by options.
- Access the module you wish to send a message from:
- Click on the antenna icon next to the members you want to send a message to, e.g. Unconfirmed Attendees
- Select the relevant channels (Email, Voice*, or Text Message*) which are listed near the top of the Send Message page. (Voice and Text depend on your provider)
- The recipient list will populate automatically, but feel free to select additional recipients if necessary;
- Choose individual members from the Members dropdown (You may also select by type of member - Member Status)
- Choose groups of members from the Groups dropdown (You may also select from On-Call members if you're using this feature)
- Type your message in the box (If only the email channel is chosen, there will be the option to enter a Subject also)
- Click Send Message
