Q - How can I conduct an inspection for all the items in a vehicle within my inventory?
A - If you have Member+ with Equipment Editor, Editor or an Account Owner permission level of your Team account, you can follow the below steps:
- Ensure that all items requiring inspection are Nested within the Vehicle
- Create a New Inspection and name it to reflect the inspections (e.g., if you have a Truck with reference number 01234, name the inspection "Inspection of Truck #01234").
- Include all the Inspection Field details required to execute the inspection,
- Item Kinds: set it to All Items
- Located In: set the location of the Truck #01234 and select Truck #01234 from the 2nd dropdown
- the system will then display all the items that you have listed in the Truck #01234 (it will show the item count too)
- Save changes
Q - How can I modify an inspection result after it has been recorded?
A - Account Owners have the permission to alter any inspection result at any time. However, if the inspection was completed within the last 24 hours, an Member+ with Equipment Editor or Editor can also make edits. If more than 24 hours have passed since the completion of the inspection, only Account Owners can make changes.
Q - How do I upload documents related to an inspection?
A - Users with Member with Equipment Basic, Member+ with Equipment Basic/Editor, Editors or Account Owners permissions can upload any document within 24 hours of completing the inspection by clicking on the 📎 attach icon once the inspection result is logged. Attachments can be uploaded by accessing the inspection Past Results in the Equipment Item's Profile, as long as it's within the last 24 hours (Account Owners have no time limitations).
