Responding to Alerts
When you receive an alert via SMS, email, mobile push notification, voice call or WhatsApp from your organization, it may require your response.
ℹ️ NOTE: Your organization may choose to Bypass silent and Do Not Disturb mode on mobile devices when sending a critical alert.
- When prompted to respond to an alert:
- SMS: Click the link in the message and select your response
- Email: Click the orange Respond now button and choose your response
- Voice Call: Use your device's keypad to select your response. Each voice call message will include an option to press 1 for acknowledgment
- Mobile Push Notifications: Click on the notification banner on your phone or computer and select your response, or click on the inbox icon and select your response
- WhatsApp: Click the Response options link in the app and choose your response.
ℹ️ NOTE: The long text attachments will be added to the email and mobile app notification, and will be accessible via a link on WhatsApp and SMS.
Once the alert has been archived, that link will expire and will only be accessible via the Web and App inbox.
