Deleting an Item of Equipment
🔑 ACCESS LEVEL REQUIRED: Member+ with Equipment Editor enabled, Editor or Owner
⚠️ ATTENTION: It is not recommended to delete items in your account as you will lose all data related to that item. Alternatively, it is best to change the item status to Retired, Lost or Inactive.
Deleting Individual Items
- Go to Logistics > Equipment
- Open the piece of equipment you want to delete through Categories > Kinds or by searching for the equipment ref # on the search bar
- Click Update details on the item of equipment that you want to delete
- Scroll to the very bottom of the screen and you will see a small red Delete button
- Click Delete
- Type in the prompted word in the space to confirm
- Click I understand the consequences, delete and that item will no longer appear
Bulk Deleting Items
If this feature isn’t available in your account, ask your team administrator to contact the Help Desk and request activation.
- Go to Logistics > Equipment
- Open the Categories > Kinds
- To bulk select items;
- Check the box next to the Ref column to select all items
- Use Select None to clear the selection
- Choose an All items option for bulk selection
- Or, manually select specific items by checking individual boxes
- Open the Bulk Action dropdown in the top left
- Select Permanently Delete
- Type in the prompted word in the space to confirm
- Click I understand the consequences, delete and that item will no longer appear
